Annabelle Gralton is a full-time artist, part-time barista and a graduate in Fine Art from both Lancaster University (BA, 2016) and the University of Leeds (MA, 2018).
Through oil-painted portraits her work explores the fluid identity of the life lived online, highlighting the changing relationship between the artist and the sitter in the post-internet age. Her work has been exhibited at OMNIA XLIV (2016) at Lancaster University, Alternative Portraits (2017) at Access Space in Sheffield and at Loop (2018) at the University of Leeds.
Based in Liverpool, Annabelle was previously resident at The Cave and now paints at Make. North Docks. When not making coffee, she is at her studio where she is preparing to accept commissioned work while continuing her own explorative practice.
She takes her tea with milk and no sugar.
