Biography
Annabelle Gralton is a full-time print technician & artist, and a graduate in Fine Art from both Lancaster University (BA, 2016) and the University of Leeds (MA, 2018).
Through oil-painted portraits her work explores the fluid identity of the life lived online, highlighting the changing relationship between the artist and the sitter in the post-internet age. Her work has been exhibited at OMNIA XLIV (2016) at Lancaster University, Alternative Portraits (2017) at Access Space in Sheffield and at Loop (2018) at the University of Leeds.
Now based in Scotland, Annabelle was previously resident at The Cave in Liverpool and Make. North Docks, now currently painting from her own art studio at home. When not helping out in the print studio, running zine workshops, or scouring the internet for lost Photoshop resources, she accepts commissioned work and continues her own explorative practice.
She takes her tea with milk and no sugar.
